GTI communication solutions on-the-mark at ADIPEC 2010
November 5,
2010
The door has
just closed on one of the main bi-annual events in the
Middle East, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum
Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), the largest oil and gas
event outside of North America.
Guardian showcased at the event the industrial telecom and
paging solutions for explosive and hazardous areas.
The attendance
of Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security
Adviser, marked the official opening of the four-day event
and around 40,000 people attended from energy ministers,
CEOs, engineers and exhibitors from around the region and
the global energy sector.
ADIPEC
reflects the status of
Abu Dhabi
as a knowledge hub for the oil and gas industry and it sets
the stage for companies to come to the city to make business
deals, forge new contacts, showcase their technologies and
services, and to get involved in strategic and
policy-shaping discussions," said ADIPEC Conference Chairman
Abdul Munim Saif Al Kindy.
Guardian Telecom Inc
technology leads the way
Guardian Telecom was
fully on show in hall 3, demonstrating to visitors about how
we can help design and implement simple or extensive
industrial telecommunications solutions for on-shore and
off-shore work-sites that demand the most rugged and
reliable communications and plant-wide paging solutions.
Moreover, VoIP and ATEX IEC Zone-1 rated solutions were a
hot topic with Guardian’s rugged technology and our
Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) solutions attracting a lot of
interest.

Safyan Ali, Guardian Telecom Sales Manager for the
Middle East
explains the advantages of Guardian’s VoIP offering.
“One simple
network connection is all that is needed with our
Voice over Internet Protocol
(VoIP) industrial telephones. SIP connectivity extends VoIP
access into the most demanding and rugged environments.
Guardian VoIP products are Power over Ethernet compliant
(PoE) or can be powered using an external power supply.
Time, money and call costs are
reduced by deploying only one voice and data infrastructure.
Customers rely on Guardian products that meet their needs
for reliability, durability and feature rich performance in
extreme temperatures, weather & severe environemts and
provide enhanced levels of EMI & voltage surge protection.
Now customers can have all that PLUS the advantages of VoIP
in demanding, industrial telecom environments. “
Furthermore, Guardian showcased at the stand a range of industrial,
water-proof and explosion-proof telephones, emergency phones
and PageTalk system components. The exhibit also included
the very popular AB-1000 Acoustic Booth that provides 25 dB
sound attenuation for use in areas with high ambient noise.
This solution, equipped with highly visible light-beacons,
provides an increased level of safety and piece-of-mind for
those area that require clear, reliable communications for
all staff working in noisy environments. This solution is
also helping to increase productivity in oil and gas
platforms around the world.

Nick Dabrensky, Guardian’s Vice President of Sales, gives an insight to GTI’s offerings to
meet plant communication needs whether customer is looking
for a new system or modernizing an existing system.
